Drawtober 2021 - Theme : Climate Change
I had a blast doing Drawtober again this year !
This year I decided to draw climate change related themes. The idea was to portray little actions, and themes (things to protect or general themes), but in a way that would make people smile. I find it easy to feel discouraged when looking at news regarding the climate crisis and I was thinking climate action should be something we feel.. positive about? So I wanted to try and see how I could draw serious subjects in a way that'd not be depressing or discouraging.
It was very challenging, but I am happy I did it. I hope you like them ! I personally learnt a lot from it.

Day 11 - Ecosystems
(Did you know that once a whale dies naturally, it creates a whole ecosystem that lasts for decades? I find it fascinating 😃)
Day 12 - Reduce plastic waste
Day 13 - Biodiversity
Day 14 - Repair
Day 15 - Learn about edible plants (part 1)
Day 16 - Save water
Day 17 - Welcome wilderness into our gardens
Day 18 - Support initiatives
Day 19 - Renewable energy
Day 20 - Replace hunting with photography
Day 21 - Equip our mailboxes with a no-ad sticker
Day 22 - Get to know our neighbors (and share things !)
Day 23- Pick up the trash / Don't litter!
Day 24 - Cleanup our mailboxes
Day 25 - Eat plant-based meals more often
Day 26 - Learn about edible plants (part 2)
Day 27 - Unplug / turn off the electronics not in use
28 - Donate what we don't need
29 - Leave our pet hair outside after brushing them (It helps our winged friends to make their nests!)
30 - Fishnets
(I wanted to represent both fashion related pollution and ocean pollution by fishing)
31 - Compost ! (and pumpkin's love of them :D)
