Sadness - Redraw (V3)

I did a redraw of an old artwork I had drawn both in 2012 and 2014 😊. It is based off a story I invented.

In this story, two characters with very different personalities and ideals get to share one same body due to some circumstances. At first they don't get along very well but they learn to understand each other, and this is the moment they separate, when both of their goals are achieved. This is also the moment they realize how much they actually got attached to one another without noticing it. A mix of gratefulness and sadness.

I think I managed to capture the proper emotion this time (third time's the charm? 🤣). It was very interesting to do and to look at how much my style changed since then!
