Style Study _ 13 Sentinels _ Mayumi Tonoyama

Style exercise ! I played 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim recently and fell in love with the character style. So I decided to experiment and try to figure out what makes the style look so soft and painterly!
I decided to take my Own character Mayumi Tonoyama and apply what I learn from observing to that drawing!
I learnt a lot. A lot of it seems to go through the color palette and the fact the main drawing lines are partially blurred. The way it is lit is also very interesting :)
